Where Is 6 Pin RT Headlight Connector?

Ready to install the headlight modulators on my 2015 R1200RT. No instructions on where to locate the 6 Pin headlight connector, only what to do once you found it. I don't see it anywhere obvious when I look at the rear of the headlight assembly, just looking inside the fairing behind the handlebars.

Can anyone help with location of this connector and, if necessary, instructions on how to get to it?

Thanks in advance.

I think it must be the connector that plugs into the headlight housing. Had my housing completely out of the bike for an LED project. There is one electrical connection to the housing for ALL of the lighting. Now, the question is, can you access it without taking the dash apart? That I don't know or remember.

Look at the middle of the far left edge of the housing.

Just realized how old this thread is, hope this is still useful info.

FWIW, I think the plug zip tied to the cable (shown in front of the 6 pin connector) is for the GPS.

YES... this is an old thread... but I recently decided to install a headlight modulator and needed some help... as I suppose the original poster may have? Looks like he may have joined... and left the forum just for that purpose?

In any event, I had a HM installed on my 06 RT. Kisan sent me the same unit for my 2014. Thank you guys, the plug was in front of my nose! But it is also entirely different than my 06 plug. Back to the drawing board I guess ;-((((

Would love to install a headlight modulator on my 2015RT but was told it wasn't possible. I have them on my other bikes and feel vulnerable riding my RT without one. If you get it figured out please let us know

I just heard back from Kisan. They don't have a HM available for the wethead RT at this time. They have the electrics all figured out but are awaiting the official ok from BMW to allow AMP to sell their proprietary connector...
