Ride Slow

2002 yr, looking thru the schedules for Preventative Maintenance, if reading correctly Alternator belt replaced at 36,000. (Or is that just inspect?)

And, I see 2 sets of info for belt:

For 1100RT not sure if it will do an 1150RT ( me thinks it will) Alternator belt:

CONTITECH: CONTI-V MULTIRIB 4PK605

Alternator belt

4K611 (4 v’s of PK profile, total length 611 mm)

Continental 12.31-1 341 779

Dayco, 12.31-1 342 059

Other brand 12.31-1 342 087.

First models every 24kkmi 12.31-1 341 563.3 (Pirelli)

In addition, was an alternate listed for:

Oil Drain Crush Ring--16mm 1 7119963252

Thanks, hope to start on it this Saturday.

Afternoon Ride Slow

With old police bikes you just never know what has been changed or updated.

If your engine & alternator are still stock then your bike takes the 12311341779 RIBBED V-BELT (4PK611). That is a Poly-V belt & not the Elastomer.

If you are uncertain then just slide the front belt cover off & read the part number on your existing belt.
