ArmyGuy
I wanted to share with my BMWST extended family my promotion on 01 May to Chief Warrant Officer Five. This is the last promotion I will ever have in the military. On 10 May 2000, after 12.5 years of enlisted service and earning the rank of SFC, I was commissioned by warrant to the rank of WO1 by my brother from another mother, Brian James Brown. Two years later, on 10 May, 2002, I was promoted to the rank of CW2 by a good friend, Tom Guley. My lovely wife promoted me to the rank of CW3 in October of 2006 and once again to CW4 in July of 2010. On 01 May 2015, I was promoted to the rank of Chief Warrant Officer Five. Never miss an opportunity for a little mentorship for my fellow Warrant Officers, Company and Field Grade Officers, Soldiers and NCOs. The cake makes it official. Link to comment
Scribner
CW5 -- a grade which only 4 percent of all Warrant Officers ever attain. Congratulations sir and thank you for your service to your Country. Link to comment

ArmyGuy
Thanks guys. I'll be moving back to the Maryland/DC area this fall and hope to finally meet up with some of you. Link to comment
Glenn Reed
Congrats! As far as the MD/DC area, there are a few of us here, just let us know where you end up. The Mid-Atlantic Coffee Club is a fairly regular event where you could meet some of the locals. Then there is F.A.R.T. coming up the last weekend in September. If you're not here in time for that one, keep an eye out for S.T.A.R.T. when it comes around in the Spring. Link to comment
doc47
Bravo! And as to "...lovely wife...." I would certainly agree! Link to comment
