John Ranalletta
Marty, found this posting on another site reporting Pat's death. So sorry. Remember him fondly from Gunnison and also used a pair of his light mounts on my '97 RT. Link to comment
Glenn Reed
Well at least Marty made it into Pat Patterson's sig line over on bmwlt - "and the little guy behind me is the world famous "Marty Hill"" For those who knew him, I'm sorry for your loss. Link to comment
John Ranalletta
Someone else can tell the story about the Mennonite family at Gunnison, but as I remember, Pat, who was camped near their cabin, made initial contact with the family. Link to comment

Sorry for our/your loss Marty. I remember Pat and his big 'ol heart. This thread contains the wonderful story of the Mennonite family, told so eloquently by the site scribe Fernando Belair himself. Pat chimes in, humbly. Link to comment

I was lucky enough to follow Pat around Mount Rainier twice and visit the cheese factory on the coast. Glad I got to see him a couple of years ago. Thanks to all who found the info. Link to comment
TEWKS
General Macarthur's quote pretty much nailed it... “Old soldiers never die they just fade away” Don't believe I ever met Pat in person but I liked his writing. I'm sure it's being worked on but could one of the Admins put him on The Ride Home page? Thanks Pat Link to comment
