Jimroc777 Posted April 17, 2015 Share Posted April 17, 2015 I just got through changing my plugs and valve cover gaskets. I happened to notice the primary plugs were that normal grayish tan color but the secondary plugs were black and oily...not to bad but a noticeable difference between the others. Anyone know what could have caused this? I must say, I've been out of town for 2 months and the bike has been sitting,not sure if that would make a difference. Thanks Link to comment
dirtrider Posted April 17, 2015 Share Posted April 17, 2015 Afternoon Jim Unless you removed those lower plugs RIGHT AFTER a high speed run they will be black looking, & if cold start, just before removal, then probably oily looking. (normal). Link to comment
