cris nitro
Morning all; I am looking at the slip on exhaust in the classifieds. It is off a 2006 R1200RT, but was wondering if it would work on my 2010 RT? I know my bike has the variable exhaust port, but don't know without looking if that is ahead of the can or in it? Thanks. dirtrider
Morning Cris The muffler/short pipes are different so it won't be a straight bolt on. I'm not sure if you could cut pipe & have it expanded to fit your flapper valve outlet, or maybe remove flapper valve & do a little expanding on the pipe to fit your front cat outlet. I show a 2013 here but that should be close to the 2010 (I think) Link to comment
cris nitro
Thanks for the quick response DR. Not worth it with all that. I just was not sure where the flapper valve was located. Just saved me $250.00! Link to comment
duckbubbles
I've been looking around a little myself, there isn't much out there for the 2010-13 models, and it surely isn't cheap (pushing $1000 for a slip-on!?). Frank Link to comment
walton66
for that kind of money, I would order a Staintune system. I had them on my three prior machines. Beautiful work and color. Link to comment
