I have an older Accumate charger from Westco for one of their batteries from a previous bike. Unsure if it's compatible with the 2013 RT battery.

 

I saw a BMW charger on Craigslist - $40 and sort of local. P/N is 82 11 0 406 881.

 

There was a reference in a Hexhead post about this specific charger. It has battery clamps but no accessory plug connection..

 

Snap it up? Stay away? Return to college and get a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering to make the choice? Inquiring minds want to know...

I use a normal charger with gator clamps on my Odyssey.

 

Dealer said it's OK to do so, and since they charge batteries the same way in their shop who am I to argue? ;)
