Pictou
It's on the left of the screen. Icon of a fuel pump on top. Should be pretty obvious. Link to comment
TestPilot
I believe the R1200R only displays fuel quantity if you have the optional onboard computer. See the Owner's Manual, pages 20 and 21. Link to comment
Mik
I have the optional onboard computer but only shows me the actual consumption and/or the average consumption but not how much fuel is remaining. Link to comment

R1200r Bikes built after feb 2013 don't have them. Neither do the T Nine bikes. (BMW found a way to use up parts for the R,rt, and gs air cooled with the t-nine). I don't know if the 2013 rt's have the gauges etc." Link to comment
dirtrider
Morning Mike You really should check with your selling dealer as they can FULLY explain the fuel gauge system on the 1200R bike. Basically the later 1200R has a low fuel light (looks like a gas pump). Once that light illuminates the odometer switches over to miles traveled since the low fuel light came on. That light/odo system re-sets itself (IF) you put enough fuel in the tank to be above the low-fuel-light trip point. As I mentioned above, your dealer should be able to FULLY explain it to you.
