Lemans Posted September 11, 2014 Share Posted September 11, 2014 You'll love it. I traded up from a R1200RT. I only notice the additional weight when moving it around in the garage. Some have problems getting it up on the center stand. Maintenance is more expensive. Get an oil extractor and use the shorter oil filters to make DIY oil changes a snap. I find the riding experience to be more intense. The additional power is intoxicating, but at the expense of the more relaxed drone of the flat twin. I doubt you will look back regretfully to your old ride. Link to comment
