Petar Posted September 11, 2014 Share Posted September 11, 2014 To please my pillion I am looking at all options for more comfortable seat and back rest. I guess for the seat I'd have to go for one of the custom made seats, but I really like the option of Givi (or other make) top box which could also act as a back rest rather than those small padded palm size back rests. Has anyone installed any of the options for comfier seat and back rest? Any detail/leads are much appreciated. Link to comment

Has had the same top box and back rest on all his bikes since 1998 and she's so happy with it she sometimes take a nap while riding... so, yes, it must be really comfortable. Link to comment

tallman Posted September 11, 2014 Share Posted September 11, 2014 Sold a K1200 S to a couple who weren't spring chickens. He added Sargent seat and a GIVI topcase w/backrest. They rode straight thru from Tallahassee to Sturgis (he was a former HDer) and had no complaints. Pillion was short and somewhat stout in build. Combo worked great for them. Link to comment
