montero1
Wife got the lowered version, but still needs to lower it an inch or two more. Anything else that can be done? Also, I thought I read somewhere that the lowered version doesn't come with a center stand, but mine has one....... Link to comment
upfisk
Actually, your's is a camhead. I have an '09 factory lowered and wish it were an inch lower also. Never heard of the camhead factory lowered without a centerstand. I went the custom seat route, didn't lower me enough, but I do have a much more comfortable seat. New shortened shocks for over $1000 will do the trick. Still waiting for my shocks to show the first sign of wearing out to do this fix. If you lower the shocks more than 1/2 inch the center stand and side stand will have to be cut off. The cornering angle will be less, but flat feet are worth the effort. Currently, I'm using lifts on my boots to almost flat foot it. Link to comment
tallman
Boot height, seat recountour ( narrower at front adds height and so does shaving. Good luck. Link to comment
montero1
Might give these a try. Sorry for posting in the wrong forum. http://www.tallmenshoes.com/wx119h51.html Next step may be to try to get the seat pad shaved down. Link to comment
