Roadglide33
Is the Matte finish harder to maintain? Have you had any issues with the paint at all? I love the way it looks just have some concerns about maintaining and durability... Thanks... Link to comment
Tri750
It has no clear coat so you may find it easier to scratch. There are a few finish products out now made specifically for "Matte" paint that I think make it look better than showroom. Here's a link to one such product. Hoghead
It is very easy to scratch!!!!....Although for the last two and a half weeks it hasn't been scratched once. Kinda hard to scratch setting in the garage.... Link to comment
Davejr1200
Initially I wanted the matte grey, but I had a test ride on one which had a few little scratches and so went for the black instead. Link to comment
DMilan
I saw a scratced RTLC on the showroom floor at a local dealer. Almost looks like there is no primer underneath.. Paint just sort of flaked off. Great looking though. I like the appearance. I saw a GSA at the Cleveland MC show in Jan Feb. It was Mat Blue. It was scratched as well. Flaked off just like the RT. I don't know, just an observation. d'milan Link to comment
