Roadglide33 Posted June 20, 2014 Share Posted June 20, 2014 Dealer called me today, said my Callisto Grey R1200RT with premium package has arrived today ( in crate from warehouse in NJ)... I asked him if he had any new info from BMW on approximate date for shocks to be delivered,He said he had not... What is the latest info anyone out there has received? Thanks... Link to comment

Haynes Posted June 21, 2014 Share Posted June 21, 2014 It has been suggested that in Australia it could be as late as September. I'm not affected by the recall but for those who are, I hope that the rollout of the new shocks is sooner than later. Link to comment
Teddy Posted June 22, 2014 Share Posted June 22, 2014 Well Keith the pain would be lessened somewhat for those affected if BMW Aus would make a decision and make the loaners available to those who want them. I know it takes a little time to organise but it feels like for some that they are dragging their heels somewhat. I have not been on my RT since late April having returned from holiday to be told bad luck don't ride it and we will consider your request. Maybe this week we will hear something but I am not holding my breath... Teddy Link to comment
