birdman
I was about to flush my brake system today and noticed that the right front bleeder screw was different . It is tubular shaped and black in color with an allen screw in the top of it. Can I still flush my brakes using this screw? I searched the forum and my Haynes manual and can't find any mention of it. MY bike is a 2000 1100rt. Any help will be appreciated . Thanks, Doug Link to comment
Alan D
I have a 2000 r1100rt as well. You are looking at a tube used to fill it at the factory. The most Recent ON magazine shows removing the grub screw in the top of that tube and installing a bleeder. I removed the complete piece with channel locks and added a speed bleeder. Good luck Link to comment

Ted
Be sure to add some heat (heat gun) before attempting its removal - I think it's loctited-on. I heard of one caliper being cracked while attempting a removal. Link to comment
