Michael B
I have a 2011 RT with Z-Technik engine guards. I need to remove them to change spark plugs for my 36,000 mile maintenance. What torque number do I use when putting the engine guards back? I can find torque numbers for original bike equipment in Owner's and other manuals, but nothing for correct torque in replacing engine guards. I'm thinking low to mid 30's mn. Any suggestions appreciated. Link to comment
12R12RT
When lacking a specified torque value I usually simply refer to a standard torque value chart. This one ain't too shabby. Tom Link to comment
QualityNut
10 NM for the OEM Aluminum guards so I'd think similar for yours. Where in Ohio? Link to comment
Michael B
Cincinnati. As for torque values, I never found any so I punted and used 20nm. Seemed to work ok…no strip-outs. Link to comment
