RT-Flyer Posted May 14, 2014 Share Posted May 14, 2014 have the small 29L BMW topcase off my 2009 RT that I have been using on my RTW ... It jammed on me and I was able to take the Top Lid off by unscrewing the lid at the forward hinge points then moving it around a bit to get it off. The jam seems to have gone away but the internal liner is not seated properly which is causing a misalignment between the bottom an top half. I have removed all the screws, drilled the pop rivets and still am not able to remove the liner from bottom shell to see what is going on ... What am I missing? Any ideas or guidance would be much appreciated. Link to comment
LBump Posted May 14, 2014 Share Posted May 14, 2014 What is going on in there, is it a German bmw thing... I was told they were bonded together with some type of caulk/sealant material. To me, that means they might be stuck, like glued.(maybe) Check this out. Looks like someone has info. Please post your results. Link to comment
