Pete M Posted April 3, 2014 Share Posted April 3, 2014 I would think so,due to the fact the canbus chargers trick the computer allowing charge. As with your 05 you can use the accessorie plug for charging. I have the $70 BMW charger which requires a harness to be installed to the battery for plug in. Link to comment

In any case (according to BMW) the 71607722471 works for both the Gel & the AGM (most RTs came with the Gel battery & some GS/GS-A 's came with the AGM). As far a working with your 2014 I can't say, you will probably have to call your selling dealer to be certain what you have will work on the new 2014 bikes. Link to comment
