woodscrew
I'm wondering if anybody has opinions about Clymer manuals.I've found mistakes in mine like "remove lower fairing panels" as a first step in removing the centerstand- ( even a dummy like me could see that's not needed)"remove rear brake caliper" to get the rear wheel off (not needed just pull the muffler bolt and spring the muffler slightly out of the way-thanks Toolman)These and a few others make me a littled worried about vital things like torque specs for the rear wheel lugs.Any thoughts? SageRider
My opinion: Clymers is a distant third after the BMW shop manual and the Haynes manual. Clymers cops out too many time with "let a dealer do the work". If I was going to do that, then I don't need their manual to tell me so. Link to comment
