neil_wilcox Posted January 29, 2006 Share Posted January 29, 2006 I would like to unhook the small wire in the rear compartment of my R12RT in order to make more room for storage of tools, etc. The wire goes to a small plastic rod which penetrates the rear mudguard and looks like some type of antenna or sensor (? air temp). The two wires in the loom are solid blue, and blue with a red stripe. I cannot for the life of me locate what this device is, even though I have searched the CD ROM. I would like to know if anyone else has figured out what this thing is, and more importantly, will the CANBUS operate normally with the plug disconnected. Thanks. Neil Link to comment

cjmkerns Posted January 30, 2006 Share Posted January 30, 2006 Neil, It's the temp sensor. You can unscrew it and tywrap it inside the tail somewhere to get more room for tools & stuff. Probably won't read the same but that may not be a problem for you. Regards, Carl Link to comment
