Zoar
Hey all. My first post. I did a search but could not find anything so please forgive me if this has been covered already. I need to replace my left side engine guard protector. It is a small black plastic thingy that looks a bit like a chin guard. I took off one bolt but it looks like I may need to take off the whole left FAIRING just to get to the bottom bolt. Is this true??? Thanks for any help. Link to comment
Boffin
Welcome to BMWST.com! Yes, the left side panel needs to come off to access this bolt. Annoying isn't it. Andy Link to comment
Zoar
UGH.. I was so afraid you would say that! darn. Are all the bolts visible or are there any hidden ones? Link to comment
Twinsig
One (ea side) hidden in front under headlight by the oil cooler, "radiator". And one ea side under the mirror. Learning the trick to rt farings takes time, work slowly, be careful. Link to comment
