macx
I thought I had seen that on You Tube on one of those Max BMW how to videos, but now can't find it. My hi beam hits too close to the right hand edge of the road and would like to aim it closer to the center of the lane. I ride 40 miles in the dark every morning on a sparsely traveled 2 lane, at least 9 miles of which are very much in deer country. When I'm done with this job and have moved back home (Jan probly) I'm also going to install an HID hi beam. I don't have all my tools with me here or any place to work on that. Just a couple months of that left, anyway. Where I'm going to retire in WY, there's also lots of deer and major numbers of antelope all over the place. Might end up putting HID's in for the low beams, too, along with some good bright auxiliary lights that throw a long and wide pattern. Thanks! Link to comment
GRB60
I don't think there's a side to side adjustment on the RT. The knob moves the light up and down. Link to comment
lkraus
Pictures in this post show the back of the headlight assembly. I believe you use the black hex knob by the right side low beam to adjust left/right positioning. Probably turns counterclockwise to aim more left - try it and see... Link to comment
macx
Yes, I'd found that knob. Just didn't want to stick my hand in there too many times. Link to comment
