Tourmaster Posted October 6, 2013 Share Posted October 6, 2013 The front brake hose (master cylinder) on my RT seems too short. When the handle bars are turned full left (to lock) the hose is pulled tight over the wire hoop that constrains the throttle cables. I reported it to the dealer, they bent the hoop a bit, its an improvement but the hose still makes contact with the wire hoop while turning the bars to full left lock. Anyone else notice this defect? 6speedTi Posted October 6, 2013 Share Posted October 6, 2013 My RT was tight as well. I loosened up the metal loop and repositioned the wires and brake line. The brake line is closest to the headset. Also check the brake line coming out of the master cylinder. The position might not be at its best straight out angle. Mine was off a bit so I loosened up the line just enough to rotate the line to its straightest position. Now I have slack even with my 1 inch bar backs installed. Link to comment
