TracyPrier
Hi all OK, so I've got my hands on a CO pot from Motorworks. Have removed the CAT from the RT's exhaust and pulled the CCP so now it's ready for the CO pot. My question is, where exactly does it plug in to on my 2000 1100RT ? Thanks Tracy Link to comment
Paul Mihalka
There is a separate part rubber mounting that attaches the CO pot somewhere to the frame on the left side, under the seat. Link to comment
TracyPrier
Thanks Paul I don't suppose anyone has got one fitted to their bike and would be kind enough to take a photo of it for me?? Could save alot of head scratching for me as my bike is ex-CHP and there is some extra wiring/connectors under the seat that makes this a little confusing. Thanks Tracy Link to comment
bmwmick
Tracy, Here is the description: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...hg=13&fg=15 and I think you'll find the 3 position plug taped up in the main harness halfway between the Motronic connector and the fuse box. That's where it was on the only R1100RS I've seen with the idle CO pot. Remember, it only affects the idle mixture. The late Rob Lentini and I played with this option but felt it wasn't worth the hassle. Mick Link to comment
