Guest Kakugo
Very hard to diagnose from a distance but sounds like the carburetors need some attention. Maybe the slow jets are partially blocked, maybe one slide is slightly sticky at that throttle openng, maybe the carburetors need synching, maybe... No matter how carefully the bike was stored after more than ten years the carburetors will definitely need stripping and inspecting. Link to comment
Defuller
Thanks for the reply. I took the left carb float cover off and Man lots of muck in it and on main jet so I took the carb off and cleaned it all out. Right side looked good. New gaskets are on way should be ready to fire up Wednesday. Wish me luck Eric in texas Link to comment
Guest Kakugo
You will probably need to strip the carbs and check the jets. Muck that forms in there can be pretty tricky to remove. Link to comment
lkchris
It's going to need new diaphragms. Link to comment
