Ken H. Posted January 14, 2006 Share Posted January 14, 2006 I changed the air filter in our R1200GS. While doing so I reached down into the bottom of the air box to see if there was any oil in it. Not too surprising for an R motor, there was a bit. I wiped it out with paper towel. But unlike the R11XXxx series, this air box has no drain plug in it (that I can find). Other than what I did, do we have any other thoughts on this subject? Link to comment
FIRST_BEEMER Posted January 14, 2006 Share Posted January 14, 2006 Most Japanese bikes (Honda) have a drain tube with a plug in the end. You could install your own if your worried about it. I know of no problem from it being in the bottom of the box. Link to comment
