Riverdawg
Does anyone have any old fuel strips I could get for some destructive testing. I'd like to get two if possible and I'll pay the shipping. Thanks Link to comment
cjack
Rats. I threw 5 or 7 of them away...I forget. But I think impost of them just broke at the junction of the strip and the wire connection inside the epoxy block. I measured the strips right up at the top and they were intact . I think it's a mechanical poor manufacture of the connections of the wires to the strip. Maybe some innate corrosion, but I don't think the gas has any real play in it since those epoxy blocks encapsulating the connections are intact on my failed strips. And the guys on ADV forum have been bringing them back to life by zapping them a BBQ Grill igniter. Link to comment
