No owners manual available. Do not let the motor run at standstill for any length of time, it will damage the fairing round the exhaust headers, has been known to kill the Hall Effect sensors, and even lead to fire. Either use a battery charger or ride the bike - the alternator output is 700watt, more than enough to cope with lights and charging battery. Cya, Andy Link to comment
Ken H.
What Andy said ten times over. Letting a boxer sit idling (or worse at higher speeds, which is what it would take to actually charge a battery) is a very, very risky and poor idea. That being said, to address your original question, there is no fuse in the headlight circuit on the R bikes. You can pull the load relief relay however to shut down the headlight and a number of other things (but not the engine). It is the first smaller black relay next to the larger yellow starter relay in the relay / fuse box. Link to comment
