Kinsley
I currently run Mapsource V6.9.1 on my PC. Santa brought an iMac G5 for Christmas, so I plan to move my PC to the basement as a server and hope to run Mapsource on the MAC. Garmin evidently does not write software for the MAC platform. Does anyone run Mapsource on a MAC through Virtual PC? Are there any noticeable differences? Thanks, Ken Link to comment

Thanks, Ken Running Mapsource (or anything else, for that matter) under VPC bites, IMHO. Since you already have a PC, do yourself a favor and just keep your mapping software on it. I have both platforms, having bought a cheapie-pc solely for this purpose. I'd prefer Mac, but I absolutely hated trying to get VPC to recognize the GPS. Maybe when Apple switches to Intel processors this year we'll see better integration with Win-doze based software. Link to comment
