SteveHebert
I j ust totalled up the repair order from Bogart's on the transmission and clutch replacement. The total with labor and tax was $3392.34! I didn't pay a dime. The bike is out of warranty. It is an 02 with 51K miles. I can't say enough about them for dealing with this the way they did. SteveHebert
Steve, I hope it is gone for good. I may be keeping her . I just enjoy the ride too much. To my friends down under, I was so pleased with the way they handled the problem. They went to bat for me the first time out of warranty and repaired the input shaft, clutch disc. They must have done something terribly wrong becasue it stripped completely 7K miles later. When I called them back, they told me to bring it up and they will ask for a replacement transmission and clutch assembly. No whining or complaining needed. Calvin, That plus many $$$$$$$$ more, bit it will be well worth it. Link to comment
SteveHebert
I may be keeping her I thought you would like that. The LT sold today. It was very nice, but not my cup of tea. Link to comment
