At the MOA in MO, I am joining a group of women learning to ride two track and dirt roads for the first time. Does anyone want to do a short trip up Phantom Canyon with me at the UN? It's a route my wonderful husband took me down (up?) in a Jeep years ago and it's a beautiful route. From Salida, it's probably a half day jaunt. I need practice and Rob's RT has an aversion to dirt. The ride is dirt roads, not off-road. Anyone interested in a light trip with a noobie? Susan Link to comment

Phantom Canyon is a great road and is on one of the GS routes along with a couple other nice dirt roads, I think it's GS route #4. My girlfriend and I rode it recently on an older F650 Strada w/street tires and it was no problem, hope to have some photos up pretty soon. Link to comment
