Adirondak's/Lake Sagandaga

Hey Guys,

 

Gonna be heading to the Adirondak's soon, specifically North Hampton Campground, on Lake Sagandaga, in New York.

 

Any good riding suggestions in the area, no more than a 100 mile ride or so, from the campground?

Make your way to Warrensburg and stop at Oscars meats for some good grub and Cheese. Then visit the Ural dealership in Chestertown.

 

Just pick a road and go, many a fine mountain twisties up there. I wander in that area from time to time aimlessly and always had a good ride.

 

That ride will easily get you around 100 miles of nice riding. Of course, the standard caveats of Lake George tourist trap season applies.

Go straight up Route 30 until you have used half your time, and then ride it back. The section along Indian Lake is especially sweet, smooth sweepers and lovely views.
