RT66Rider Posted June 19, 2012 Share Posted June 19, 2012 Rode my motorcycle to the French Quarter in New Orleans today for the first time. In the past, we were always in the SUV and parking on Decatur Street was always convenient. But as I pull up to the lot to grab my ticket stub, I notice the sign says "NO MOTORCYCLES". Well, there are lots of public parking lots along Decatur, so I tried the next one, and the next one, and the next one. None of them allowed motorcycles. What the hell ? I finally parked my bike and went to ask a human attendant, "Where can I park my motorcycle", he said, "That's a good question". He ended up suggesting that I try parking under the balcony at the Hard Rock Cafe. First I went inside and asked if it was OK, they didn't mind. Good on them. But What the Hell. Link to comment
