Ohlin,questions specific to 1200RT

On the 1200RT I was told that you could not adjust the front shock damping on Ohlins with out removing the shock because the lower mount is now recessed and you can't reach the knob when it's mounted. Who's got ohlins on a 1200RT?. Please go look and tell me if this is true.

Also where did you buy them and why did you pick that particular supplier?

Another brand manufacturer is telling me that the 1200 shock is 3/8" longer than the ones that fit the 1150's so this new non adjustable front shock costs $600.00. I said no to them.For what these things cost I want to be able to change settings to suit me.
