TowJam
Can you tell from looking at the oil temp gauge (05/06 RT) when the thermostat has kicked in and is routing oil up to the cooler? For example, is it safe to assume that by the time the gauge indicates two bars, oil is circulating through the cooler? I'm asking because in another thread, someone mentioned having the thermostat open when doing an oil change. Link to comment
HandyAndy
You could just feel the oil cooler with your hand! If it's warm the oil is circulating through it and the thermostat is open! Link to comment
