My 2007 GT battery is getting weak. Does the Odyssey PC680-P battery fit the '07 GT? Is the Amazon price the best? ($104 inc. shipping). Does the Odyssey require accessory terminals and are they included?

Morning Rich

As to the fit of the 680 in your GT I can't help you. On the "L" brackets coming with the 680-P battery (maybe)

The 680-P I brought through Amazon did come with the "L" terminals (they usually do).

BUT, keep in mind that Amazon uses a few different battery vendors so what I got might not be what you will get. Your best bet is to call or E-Mail & ask the specific Amazon vendor you are buying through.

My RT is about due for a new battery also,I was thinking of a Shorai or an Antigravity. Big weight saving

Are you one of those rare skinny RT owners? I don't meet many of those. Seriously, I usually have so much stuff packed on my bike that the weight of a battery is insignificant.

Ah but there is less guilt then that you are over burdening the bike with one more thing or another trip back to the buffet.

How was your trip up this way???

Just ordered the Odyssey PC680-P from Amazon since the price has dropped to $98. I'll wait to see if it comes with the necessary wiring hardware. I can order that later if necessary.

I am in the country, outside of Mt. Airy rioght now. Headed to Boone tomorrow and will spend tomorrow night at the old Watauga County fairgrounds; then on to the Rebel Yell Rally in the GA hills. I plan on being in Norcross at the Blue Moon Cycle swap meet on Saturday. There is a ride scheduled for Sunday.

The center of gravity is a little high on the older RT's.

I think if you had a lighter battery it would help, that along with low fuel makes the bike a lot better handling around town.Especially if your older and your pillion likes to move around alot.

I'll bet the new RT's have a shade lower C of G.

Rich - you'll need spacers for the bottom and one for the side facing the front of the motorcycle. I used a couple of pieces of 1/4 inch rubber mat material I had left over from a job.

By the way, I had my first ever Odyssey failure within one year--replaced no questions asked under warranty. Just like BMW does. ;)

My Odyssey battery was delivered today (I love Amazon Prime's two-day 'free' delivery). It came with the connector kit. I'll install it this weekend.

I just received my Odyssey battery from Amazon. The terminal adapters were included in the box, after I blew $17 bucks with a separate adapter order ($8.00 for shipping a couple little pieces of metal).
