Philbie Posted November 1, 2011 Share Posted November 1, 2011 have decided to rebuild my 1985 R80, and have striped it down to engine and frame. am wondering what is the best method of cleaning the loom and associated wiring up with? they are caked with road grime, and I am not sure what the best options are? any help would be appreciated. regards, phil. 97oilhead Posted November 1, 2011 Share Posted November 1, 2011 Phil, If you can get WD-40 where you are, I find that it does a pretty good job of gently removing grime and grease and leaving a bit of a shine. Link to comment
