Glenn Reed
Apparently, in Wisconsin, there have been two non-deer motorcycle/wildlife fatalities recently. One involved a turkey, the other a wolf! Stay safe out there gang! Link to comment
Mister Tee
I'm waiting for our Australian friends to chime in on this subject.... Link to comment
W. Mazelin
Bummer on both counts. I wonder if the outcomes would've been different if the riders were geared-up. Link to comment
DirtyDR
I came across this on the highway not too far from my house a couple of years ago. Link to comment
Kitsap
Ever drifted the front end on a possum? Oct. 09 took out a deer, I still get tense on that section of road during my commute. Link to comment
dhanson
I always watch in my rearview to see if Jean is gonna hit the roadkill. Link to comment
JustJean
I have never hit road kill....... However I have run over a 4x4 piece of wood. If the person who keyed the mike to tell me about it had WAITED to speak until after he got thru keying the mike I would have dodged it too!! All I heard was "blank blank in the middle of the road" so naturally I'm looking for a dog to run off. It was a slow blind curve in a little Podunk town. I did a perfect hit tho! Stood up and squared the bike to the target. Link to comment
Bullett
I always watch in my rearview to see if Jean is gonna hit the roadkill. I recall running over some kind of dead animal, a couple years ago when I was following you to Oregon. I'm seeing a trend here. I didn't realize you led me there on purpose. Link to comment
tallman
Turkeys yes, but no wolves, so far. Bears, turkeys, alligators, snakes, racoons, opossums, eagles, deer, coyotes, bobcats, florida panther, buzzards, foxes, dogs cats, horses, donkeys, mules, cattle, fox squirrels, chupacabra (no, really), are among the critters that populate one stretch of my commute and I've had lane share with me this year. Except for the panther which was farther south. I've seen snakes thicker than 2x4's. Be careful out there. Link to comment
