I heard this morning of individuals who were looking for their families, but had no idea if they were even on the right street. The devastation was so great that it was impossible to determine if they were even in the right neighborhood. Link to comment

I recall one that hit Lancaster, TX back in the early 90's...it completely leveled entire blocks. When I say "completely leveled" I mean there was NOTHING left but the foundations. No trees. no structures. Not even very much debris. We saw 4x4's that had gone through chainlink fence like a cheese-grater. My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Joplin. Link to comment
