Fess Posted November 14, 2005 Share Posted November 14, 2005 Hadn't ridden my new (1K miles) R12RT in a while and was surprised to see that the fuel guage showed full. Just assumed i had refilled last time out. A while later I was stuck on the side of the road with the guage on full and the tank on empty. A friend brought me some gas and I went to fill up. After topping off the tank I left the station still showing full. About a block later it goes to empty and starts flashing. 1/2 mile later it's back to full, then to empty , then to full and so on and so on. Guess I'll be using the trip meter from now on, just like the old days. Link to comment
