DavidEBSmith Posted November 12, 2005 Share Posted November 12, 2005 You shouldn't have to drill any holes if you have the right model for your bike (at least you don't have to dril any holes on the R1100RT). The brackets mount to various fairing screws - you unscrew the screw, put the bracket in place, screw the screw back in. On the 1100, it attaches to the 2 screws at the front of the indentation under the windshield, and the 2 screws in the vertical part of the indentation.
