malcolm
I broke my own rule the other day and used my garden hose to remove all these dead insects from up under the fairing on my RT. The damn things are soooo hard to reach by hand. The exercise generally leaves me with skinned knuckles. I'd been for a weekend ride into the country with a bunch of fellas to a BMW meet. There were dead insects and crap over everything. The hose, on medium pressure removed the insects no worries but left my horn sounding less than healthy. The horn on the RT is very impressive but now, definately needs a shot of viagra Anyone got any ideas as to how to get it back to her robust self? Link to comment
Haynes
G'day Mal. Remove the horns and drain the water. Refit. Been there, done that. Link to comment
malcolm
Yo Keith What's involved in the removal. Is it simple? (Will the water drain/evaporate by itself and eventually not need attention?) Link to comment
KDeline
And I use a high powered (Gasp) pressure washer and have had no problems. Link to comment
