IKIMURA
I had some computer problems and lost the site that had a real nice schematic on hooking up relays for R1100RT. I bought all the stuff but I would like to looks over that schematic some more. Link to comment
dirtrider
Evening IKIMURA What you trying to wire up? The relay terminal schematic really depends on the relay being used as some have built in clamping diodes and have to be wired properly to protect that diode. Even Selden’s picture is subject to debate as most small square Bosh type relays use 30 as B+ into the relay and 87 as the (controlled) out-to-device terminal. But as I mentioned you really need to know the circuit design and relay type. Usually there is small picture on the side of the relay case that shows relay terminal usage. Sample simple relay schematic below--- Link to comment
Sheepherder
try this page bosch and hella normally uses 30 as power in and 87 and 87a for the power out one will be normally close and the normally open the diode he mentioned are shown on the catalog. never ordered from this company just looked at the catalog. Most parts places will carry the relays in catalog with the driving lights. enjoy http://terminalsupplyco.com/pdfviewer/default.asp?chapter=components&page=p089 Link to comment

Looks like #30 is the common & 87 is the N.O.(normally open) set of contacts. This may help clear things up. Link to comment
boatzo
You may want to check this site http://www.easternbeaver.com/ They sell the relay kits and I think they have the diagrams. Link to comment
