The windshield just pulls up/out for the upper position. Remove the seat by using your key (lock is near the pannier). Check the oil by looking at the sight glass through the lower cowl (right-hand side, you must lay down or get on your knees). Your manual could be under the seat in a pocket formed in the seat pan. tallman Posted November 4, 2005 Share Posted November 4, 2005 Check oil w/bike on level ground. Try to do it in the same place for consistency. Wait if you just got back from a ride. I check mine in morning when engine is cold before I leave. Link to comment
