OBC question

If an R1200 model does not have the onboard computer option, does it still have a fuel gauge, clock and oil temp? Or to ask another way, what specific data does the OBC provide the rider that you don't get otherwise?

Won't you miss the lap timer? The TPM is a fun thing to watch. The vague, miles to empty, is a matter of great concern and misinterpretation. But one can live without such things. Kinda the Mennonite version of the BMW.
