Jon_M Posted October 18, 2010 Share Posted October 18, 2010 I recently rented a nearly new R1200R for two weeks for a tour of the Swiss Alps. I normally ride an R12RT but thought that the simpler bike would be friendlier in the passes. At my request, the rental had the low seat option, and I was surprised at how much more comfortable it was, compared to the factory low seat on my RT. It was contoured better for me, and the padding was ample. I rode it all day, every day, and never complained. Does anyone know offhand if the R12R seat will fit on the R12RT? If so, it would save a lot of money that would otherwise go for a custom seat. Link to comment
