Vacuum line question -New Owner-

I was doing some work on my 2000 r1100rt, and upon finishing I realized I had a vacuum line going to nowhere. It is about half the diameter as all the other lines and runs from the right rear around the airbox and back to the left rear(I think). Maybe it's a drain line. I don't have a clue/

At a guess I would say it is a battery vent line - these would be in that general area and are often left when a wet battery is replaced with a Gel or AGM sealed battery that does not use a vent.

+1 on the drain line for older style lead-acid batteries. I found a similar orphaned line. Running into the battery box.
