GBAILEY
Hi All I have just taken my navigator 4 of my 1200 RT and have fitted to my 1300 GT 09 On the RT you can just plug into a socket which fits the socket on the power lead. Is there the same socket on the 1300 GT? And if so where is it? I cant find it so I was going to jsut go live onto the battery but the socket on the end of the lead has 3 wires going into it. Black, red and mauve. I also have another socket on the lead which I thing is to plus into a auto com for verbal instructions. Any help would be gratefull Link to comment
Firefight911
Here's what I did - LINKY The same plug for the GPS as the RT is available under the tank skin on the GT. I just went and tapped off the accessory socket on the left side of the bike as it was a lot easier to get to and the length of wire run was shorter. The mauve lead is a pulse generator lead for dead reckoning when a GPS signal is lost. If using the BMW repair connector (HERE) you can connect it up right in to the system. Link to comment
