Final Drive Ball Bearing

The final drive ball bearing is a standard 6013 with double seals.

 

BMW uses a n FAG bearing made in Germany.

 

The SKF bearing is equal to or superior to the FAG bearing and is avaoilable on AMAZON about $80.

 

Other equivalent bearings are available from other suppliers for as little as $27.

 

There is nothing special to BMW about the FAG 6013 bearing, it is strictly an off the shelf item, you get the same bearing from wherever you buy it.

 

BMW just takes it out of the factory box and repackages it.
