Albert Posted September 23, 2010 Share Posted September 23, 2010 I've had my bike die several times lately due to the side stand switch. In every case, extending then retracting the side stand fixed the issue and I was off. This did happen twice while I was at speed but, after pulling over, the extension/retraction worked and I was away. Two questions: 1. Is there an adjustment to the swich or is it either good or bad? 2. If one needed to jump the switch in an emergency, is it normally open or normally closed. That is to bypass the switch, would I simply jump the wires together or cut them and separate them? TIA Link to comment
