prof Posted September 23, 2010 Share Posted September 23, 2010 Can anyone point me to the source of the saddlebag protection strips that adhere to the outside of the lids. I am not looking for the clear vinyl sheets, nor the BMW guards that attach to the bottom of the bags, but rather for the rubber/vinyl bumper strips that self stick to the sides of the lids and might actually protect the lids from touching down in the event of the inevitable tip-over. Or go to an auto parts store; there are lots of products that stick on, and some should not detract unnecessarily from the appearance, while still providing good protection. It doesn't have to say "BMW" to be effective. Link to comment
